Is your website secure?

What format are the digital files in?
The audio files are in MP3 format and the workbook/vocabulary books are in PDF format. They are delivered in a compressed ZIP file to reduce download time. Once the file is downloaded, your computer may automatically unzip the files and you’ll be able to load them on your digital device. How do I receive the download?
All you need to do is add the downloadable language course to your shopping cart and proceed through checkout as you normally would. Upon completion of the checkout process, you will be provided with a link that you can click and your computer will automatically start the download. You will also receive an email with the downloadable link. You will have access to the link and will be able to download the file for 24 hours.
How many times can I download the course?
You have purchased one license. You will be able to download the file one time. You need to complete the download within 24 hours after you purchase the course. If you do not download the course within 24 hours, you will need to purchase the course again in order to have access.
Can I make copies of these files?
As with any copyrighted materials, it is illegal to share files and/or copy these and distribute them. When you purchase a downloadable course from us, you agree to not make copies of the courses to share with others. You may make copies for backup and for using on your different audio devices, but it is illegal to distribute the files with or without monetary gain. Please keep in mind that it is a federal offense to distribute copyrighted materials without permission of the owner. We will prosecute violators to the fullest extent of the law.
Do you offer refunds if I don’t like the course or decide that I don’t want it?
Due to the nature of downloadable courses, we do not offer any refunds once the item has been purchased. If you are unsure, you may want to consider purchasing a physical copy of the course and having it sent to you. All of our physical language courses come with a 14-day Money Back Guarantee.
How big are the files?
The allTalk courses range anywhere from 1-2 GB. The allTalk Basic courses are about 400 MB. The PDQ courses are about 500 MB.
What shipping methods do you offer?
We offer many different methods of shipping through UPS and US Postal Service. During checkout you can choose the method that you would prefer.
For international shipments, who pays the duties and taxes?
The shipping and handling costs that you pay to Linguaphone are for the shipment only. Any duties, taxes, customs, or import fees are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact your local customs office for pricing and other import information. Please note, all shipments originate from the USA.

How do I return a course?

Returned courses should be received by Linguaphone within 28 days from the date of receipt. Return shipping is to be paid by the customer. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned course, you will be issued a full refund (minus original shipping charges).
Courses should be in like new, saleable condition. Returned courses are subject to inspection. Linguaphone reserves the right to reject any returned course that is not in saleable condition.
We do not offer a return or refund on our MP3 downloads or our Daily Online Subscription services. Once you have confirmed any download or subscription order, we will not be able to refund your purchase.

What if I receive a defective CD or product?
